A volunteer leader runs these groups. They also teach babysitting, specialized babysitting for the very young and/or DD child,
and other self-reliance skills, ANYONE in the community can attend these classes, Call for class dates, times and location.
They have a program called SPECIAL SITTERS that teaches teenagers to care for children with disabilities. Saturday Club is
where children disabled or not disabled can gather and play with the SPECIAL SITTERS on Saturdays. Scholarships are available.

Every Friday night they have a "teen night". They have games, socializing and DJ's. Ages 13-24 years of age are welcome.

FRIENDS OF YOUTH COMMUNITY SERVICES-ISSAQUAH
Hours: Monday-Friday 8:30-5:00pm
Short-term shelter for runaways/homeless youths. Provides substance abuse counseling, individual/group-therapy.

Temporary residential services for youths (ages 12-17) because of family conflict; Placements screened through
DSHS or for after hour placement call the Crisis Clinic of Kitsap County. Callers cannot "self-admit".
