NO AFTER HOURS PLACEMENT

The Community Action Council of Jefferson County has many programs to help people. They have clothing for men, women and children,

work clothing, emergency food, rental assistance (not to exceed $I00/individual), transportation, chore services for people confined to home,

help obtaining glasses, meals for seniors, emergency shelter, health care assistance, alcohol and drug help and more. This agency does not

have any after-hour facilities.

KITSAP COUNTY DOMESTIC VIOLENCE TASK FORCE

 Their mission: to create a community free from domestic violence. They help educate the community, establish a community response,

encourage and support other agencies that deal with DV issues, collect and maintain data on DV in the community and help advocate for

OLYMPIC COMMUNITY ACTION ENERGY ASSISTANCE/ENERGY CRISIS-PORT ANGELES

 This division of Clallam Community Action Council helps low-income families, as funding is available, with

heating costs. Families only allowed to apply once in a 12-month period. DSHS clients must apply to DSHS before applying here.

This agency helps people who are below the poverty level get help with employment, food, temporary shelter, health care, clothing,

and some financial assistance.

Bread & Produce: weekdays, as available.

Breakfast and Lunch: Weekdays, 8:00am to 8:45am, and 12:00 to 12:45pm.

diapers and. Toiletries: Same days as food boxes.

Utility Assistance: January to June. Must show proof of low-income and have a disconnect notice. Restricted to once per 12 months.

Call for appt. Community Voice Mail: provides free voice mail for those who need to receive messages but have no phone.
