The CHANGES Parent Support Network empowers parent communities experiencing destructive, violent
and out-of-control adolescent behavior. We achieve this through structured self-help support and educational
programs that promote positive behavioral and cultural changes.

A certified car seat technician will check for appropriate seat for child, recalls and proper installation.

Have programs that benefit children and families. They have foster care, adoption, child advocacy,
and parenting programs. They offer education classes for parents, counseling for families and children
who have been victims of sexual, physical or mental abuse. They DO NOT accept medical coupons
for some services.

Crisis line for runaways and their families. Discuss frustrating situations or parents can call if their
children are runaways. Kids can call to get help in returning home or getting out of an abusive situation.

Outreach program that provides case management, encouragement of positive parenting skills,
help families develop their own support network. Their goal is to help families enjoy their children,
and able to recognize problems and know how to use resources and support systems.

Children in the Middle offers parents solutions to issues of single parenting, what amount of visitation is right for the child,
conflict resolution techniques and challenges of blending families. This group/lecture is given at different times. This also
will satisfy requirements of counties and states where it is mandated that parents attend a class dealing with the effects of
divorce on their children. Call for detailed information on lecture series and fees.
MOTHER'S OF PRESCHOOLERS (MOPS)
Groups are communities that meet the needs of every mom with children form birth to kindergarten. MOPS recognizes,
that urban, suburban, and rural moms, stay-at-home and working moms, teen, single, and married moms all share a similar
desire to be the very best moms they can be. MOPS groups help them do it. There are several locations in Kitsap County.

STEP-BY-STEP PARENT SUPPORT-BAINBRIDGE
This is a step-by-step parenting class that teaches parents problem solving skills and how to deal with children.
This led by Victoria Heemstra and meets in the Sterling Building in downtown Bainbridge. The classes meet every
other Saturday from 10:00AM until12:00PM. The cost is $25/session, per couple.
