Our Programs
COMMUNITY & HEALTH
Community Services Programs address a variety of needs within each tribe's community, but share one common element: improving the health and wellness of every community member.
SOCIAL SERVICES
The Social Services staff is dedicated to working with the Five Tribes as they strive to empower their community members. SPIPA shares the vision of the tribes: success, safety, and wellness for everyone.
TANF
The Tribal TANF program offices serve urban and rural Native Americans in Pierce County, Kitsap County, at Nisqually, Skokomish, and Squaxin Island. A SPIPA Office serves Mason County. The goal: overcome all obstacles so clients can get a living wage job.
EDUCATION & TRAINING
A full range of Education and Training Programs are offered at the Five Tribes' Career Center (5TCC). The Career Center offers GED preparation classes, college level coursework through our community college partners, vocational counseling services, job training and placement assistance, as well as general assistance. Each tribe in the consortium also offers on-reservation GED preparation and college courses.
