An Organizational
Overview
of Our Board of Directors
The Board, which
meets once a month, oversees and administers the activities of the South
Puget Intertribal Planning Agency (SPIPA).
Each member is appointed by their Tribal Council and given the duty
of keeping that Council informed.
The Board's prime goal is to promote the well being of Tribal Members
and Tribal Communities.
To that end, SPIPA
is directed to maintain, expand and enhance current community services,
education, job training, and social service programs using grant funds
(and other resources) to benefit all tribal members and their families.
A prime
directive of the Board is to develop new resources for
funding
programs
and services.
