One of SPIPA’s main services is to assist member tribes in applying for and securing grants.

SPIPA coordinates grant activities and strategies with the tribes and offers a range of planning and grant writing services.

 

Planning and grant writing services:

• Research and notify tribal planners of funding
  opportunities for tribal and SPIPA programs
• Write new and renewal grant applications for SPIPA, intertribal consortium projects, and individual tribes
• Provide technical assistance to program managers on funding issues and grant writing
• Coordinate follow-up activities
