S.P.I.P.A's Annual Art Auction
& Dinner - Gallery 2003
The South Puget
Intertribal Planning Agency is a Tribally chartered, non-profit consortium
formed to provide planning, technical assistance and direct services
in response to the directives of the Chehalis, Nisqually, Shoalwater
Bay, Skokomish and Squaxin Island Tribes and in support
of each Tribe’s sovereignty.
How The Proceeds
from this Benefit Are Used
Seventy-five
percent of the proceeds raised from the Annual
Native Art Auction and Dinner goes into an investment fund that will be used
to establish the SPIPA Endowment Fund. All funds raised advance the health,
education and welfare of the SPIPA Tribal Consortium composed of the Chehalis,
Nisqually, Skokomish, Squaxin Island and Shoalwater Bay Tribes. The remaining
twenty-five percent raised will be used for the immediate needs of the youth
programs and services for Elders.
